The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) program that supports free tax preparation services through partner organizations. The serve people who make $69,000 or less, people with disabilities, and limited English-speaking taxpayers.
The VITA Tax Clinic at Trinity College provides free tax preparation service to the community. The clinic is one of several VITA locations in Hartford run by the United Way of Northeastern CT and The Village for Families and Children.
