Three great Hartford museums have free admissions to Hartford Residence in honor of Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 19th.

Wadsworth Museum
FREE ADMISSION 10AM – 5PM
Martin Luther King Jr. Community Day: Spread the Word: Celebrate the powerful message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with Ice Cream for a Dream, spoken word poetry, an art activity, tours, and much more!

The Mark Twain House & Museum
FREE ADMISSION to Hartford Residents 9:30AM – 5:30PM; the last tour is at 4:30PM
Thanks to The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc., we are offering free tours to our valued neighbors to the residents of the city of Hartford.
Bring along proof of residency, and take that long-planned tour of Mark Twain’s House!

Harriet Beecher Stowe Center
FREE ADMISSION/ TOURS 9:30AM – 4:00PM
To honor Dr. King’s legacy, the event will focus on Non-Violent Resistance to Inequality. At Noon, join us in a public bell ringing, “Let Freedom Ring: Choose Non-Violence,” in collaboration with Atlanta’s King Center.
