Saturday, May 2nd. 5-8 PM, Cinestudio. 8-11 PM, Terrace Rooms. Dress to impress!
Saturday, May 2, 2015, marks the 4th annual nationwide and international undergraduate short film competition on our campus in Hartford, Connecticut. We have students traveling from around the world (and indeed one accepted student filmmaker attempting to travel from Malaysia) for the opportunity to have their films screened in our Cinestudio. Every year, our submission pool grows larger and more competitive. Because of that, Trinity is known specifically for this festival in many pockets of the United State and Canada. Trinity Film Festival (TFF) is a student run enterprise that strives to foster undergraduate filmmaking all around the world. It is an event run entirely by volunteers that takes a massive amount of year round work and we truly appreciate your support.
The event, beginning at 5 PM, is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served both at Cinestudio during the screenings, and at the awards banquet after-party in the Terrace Rooms above Mather Hall at 8 PM. The event is an Academy Awards-style celebration, so dress to impress. Thousands of dollars in cash prizes will be awarded, but you as an audience also have the opportunity to vote for Best Picture. We hope that you will take pride in this festival and will join us for the opportunity to see some of the best student filmmaking – from around the world – right at Trinity.
